I have to be honest and say in general terms I’m not at all a fan of Clickbank’s “make  money online” type courses. Most of them are garbage and even the better ones seem to be recycling the same information. It is not easy to make money online and it sure is not easy to generate decent traffic for any site. If you take a look at these type of courses on Clickbank they all claim that you will be making thousands online in no time, which we all know for most who buy the courses is simply not true.

If you are going to make money online then there are NO magic solutions.  You are going to have to be motivated and able to learn new techniques. Many trying to make their fortune online lack motivation and simply give up after a month or two. To be honest from experience it is not easy to work for yourself either in  the real world or online and this is why very few do so. Many simply prefer the security of having a steady job and this is why such as small percentage of people are self employed. Trust me I know as I ran my own successful computer hardware and software company for over 20 years and have been working online for 3 years.

What Is The SEM Business Blueprint About?

In general terms it is about starting your own Search Engine Marketing business. Yes there are other online courses that cover SEM but for once this one is the real deal. It contains video courses that teach you the techniques you need, plus you get everything you need to get your business online including websites and even radio ads.

From experience I can tell you there is a great demand for SEM services from businesses in every city and town. I have worked  in this field for a couple of years and the great  thing about offering SEM services to local businesses compared to promoting products online is that there is much less competition.

For example I helped a Blackpool Hotel owner get his site on page 1 of Google for key phrases such as Blackpool Hotel. Now there must be thousands of guesthouses and hotels in Blackpool but you would be amazed at how few have  any SEM work done to their sites. If I had the time I could apply my techniques to every seaside resort in the UK and work for 3 or 4 hotels in each resort and have enough work for the rest of my life. You could apply this to any niche such as florists or even garages. The market for SEM is immense!

If you are thing about buying this course so a little research on niche businesses in your local area and you will be amazed how few have a first page ranking for their man key phrase.

Can I Really Make A Six Figure Income In My first Year?

From experience I would say no! The course states that you can make $100,000 from 10 clients and this to me is an exaggeration. For the first few months you are going to have to prove yourself to potential customers, so at first you may have to make your prices very competitive and maybe work on a “first page of Google” or no fee basis. I have found that the smaller businesses are easier to get work from and most of these will not be prepared to pay out $10,000 for your services as you have no proven successes. As with all online courses the potential earnings are always exegerated!

Who Should Purchase The SEM Business Blueprint

Well you will need the following skills.

From personal experience you are going to have to meet most potential clients at least a couple of times. When you have been in business a while and have good references you will be able to take more orders without meetings but most potential client will want to meet you. Put yourself in their position. Would you write a check for lets say even £1000  to someone you had never met?

So you are going to need good communications skills so if this is something you struggle with then the SEM Business Blueprint is not for you.

I.T. Skills

You will need above average I.T. skills no matter what anybody else might say. You will find most potential clients don’t even know how to access their sites. In most cases you are going to have to change some of the content of their sites so you will need to be able to change the code of their website and using a FTP software package. You will also need to know about using different hosting packages to access their stats etc. If you don’t have above average I.T skills or the ability to learn these skills quickly the SEM Business Blueprint is not for you.

Good Writing Skills

Could you write quality 500 word articles about your clients niche? You are going to need this ability. You could outsource but for your main articles I would always suggest you write them for yourself.

Do You Have The Motivation?

Are you self motivated? Can you get out in the real world each week to find new customers? Can you take the knocks when things don’t work out? With every business things do go wrong from time to time. What would you do if you fail to get a decent ranking for a customer even if this is due to circumstances beyond your control? Could you deal with this situation?

Over the years I have seen hundreds if not thousands of online courses that are supposed to help you launch you own online gold mine. Most if I’m honest are garbage! A few do give you a basic understanding of how to make money online but are nothing special and the same information is spun by most of these courses.

I have been visiting your site for a week or so. I notice that you also promote “The Clickbank Code” and “Mavericks”. Are you saying the SEM Business Blueprint is better than these products?

Yes miles better! If you follow the SEM Business Blueprint and put 50% of what you learned in practise you will not only make money you will be able to make a business out of it. I have been saying for years that local businesses SEO sucks big time. With the SEM BB you get a complete package such as training, websites and even radio ads. Most of these type of packages are to say the least poor. The better ones until SEM BB have been average. SEM BB just blows them all away IMO. If anybody buys SEM BB and does not make money then they should ask for a refund and stop trying to make money from SEM. If you can’t make money from the SEM BB package then you never will!

The other product are not for SEM they are for other forms of making money online such as affiliate marketing. I do though take your point and as soon as I get banners for SEM BB all the banners on the homepage will be removed.

Below i have set out a guide to assist you with your link projects. Many people waste time and effort going after the wrong type of links, this guide should help prevent this!

1. First job, write a useful keyword rich site thats interesting and looks good too, there is not a hope in hells chance of getting other webmasters and or companies to links to your site if it looks and reads like the dogs dinner. Put the effort and time into making your site appealing, links will be much easier to come by then.

2.Not all links are equal. Its not too difficult to get some links but they need to be of good quality too, many SEO experts will tell you its quality not quantity that google looks for. Often 10 of the “right” links will rank more highly than a site with 100 wrong links.
So what makes a “right” link, well its simple really, the best links are those that come from well established sites that share a similar topic to you and of course are indexed in Google, page rank may be helpful also.

3. Its hugely important that aswell as your actually URL you get some anchor text into your link, this should be varied a little to ensure your site begins to show in varying search results in your field of choice. The anchor text should be the keywords you are hoping to rank for, using banners as your link is not advisable as its not the best way to gain results.

Link opportunities are everywhere, you can gain links by publishing articles online, syndicating press releases, submitting your site to directories, registering and contributing in forums, growing a blog or becoming an authority in your field. You are only limited by your own committment to the cause.

5. Articles can provide 1 way backlinks! Yes that right, there is only 1 thing better than a good quality link and thats a good quality 1 way link, ie: a link from a good site to you, without the need for you to place a reciprical link. This can be acheived by writing and submiting unique articles in your subject field, once these are submitted you will not only receive a link from the publiching website, but also from any other webmasters who see your article and use it on their site, do NOT under estimate the power of article marketing for building inbound links. The added benifit also, is some users will visit your site by clicking on the link you attached, so its not just a link, but real traffic also.
